Atkin Automation's expertise in the control
of steel strip comes from over 70 years experience in manufacturing
high quality coil processing
equipment, based on the Atkin and BHP product ranges, for a
wide range of international industry sectors.
From its modern UK factory in Thetford, Norfolk, Atkin Automation
also integrates its coil processing products with punching,
notching, shearing, roll forming and other automated equipment
to create the production lines demanded by the many manufacturing
companies which process high volumes of metal strip during
product manufacture.
Manufacturing companies have traditionally taken a long term
view on capital equipment investment, demanding high quality,
long lasting coil processing equipment supported by excellent
customer service and support. However, changing economic climates
have, in some instances, necessitated the adoption of stricter
controls on capital investment.
In order to be able to meet these
changing market requirements, Atkin Automation has entered into
an exclusive agreement with Taiwanese manufacturer Shung
Dar, adding this manufacturer’s cost effective coil handling
and process equipment to its portfolio, which sit comfortably
alongside the Atkin and BHP ranges.
